What is Cadillac Super Cruise?
Giving you a glimpse into the future of mobility, Cadillac Super Cruise is an innovative hands-free cruise control system that’s been painstakingly perfected with over 34 million miles of real-world testing. In fact, Super Cruise offers the largest hands-free driving network in North America featuring both divided and non-divided highways.
Super Cruise driver assistance technology relies on precision LiDAR map data along with real-time cameras, sensors, and GPS to maintain control of the vehicle when the system is activated. Using real-time data and GPS map updates, the system can determine your vehicle’s precise location while the Lane Sensing Camera detects the marked lanes on the road. Working alongside the Adaptive Cruise Control feature, Super Cruise will automatically accelerate or brake the vehicle to maintain a driver-selected following gap time from a car in front, even in stop-and-go traffic.

Once activated, the Adaptive Cruise Control symbol will appear on the instrument panel in white. If Adaptive Cruise Control is already set, the symbol with be illuminated in green with a speed shown.
Step 2

After the symbol and light bar on the steering wheel both illuminate in green, you’re able to remove your hands from the steering wheel.
